BC Recreation Site — User Maintained — This recreation site hosts 30 km of non-motorized, multi-use trails with a primary focus on xc skiing. Tyee Mtn Trails Society maintains and grooms the trails using a snowmobile to compact and provide a level surface. The trails are not track set. Fees: By Donation (to Non-Profit Society which maintains the trails) Facilities: small shelter, fire pit and outhouse at Sawmill Trail/McDowell Lake https://tyeemountaintrails.wordpress.com/ — Hislop Road Access: From Highway 16 just east of Telkwa, turn on to Tyhee Lake Road, then on to Hislop Road.
