TrailSync ("the Service") is an expedition-planning platform operated by RREV ("we", "us") at mytrailsync.com. It provides route planning, campsite discovery, weather information, vehicle telemetry display, and community-contributed content for overlanding and vehicle-based travel. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
TrailSync provides informational suggestions, not professional guidance. Routes, campsites, trail difficulty, fuel estimates, water sources, and weather data may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Overlanding and off-road travel are inherently dangerous. You are solely responsible for: verifying road and trail conditions, legality of camping locations, land ownership and closures; carrying adequate fuel, water, and supplies; and all decisions made in the field. Never rely on the Service as your only source of navigation or safety information. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of the Service.
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent.
You may submit campsites, reports, confirmations, and other content ("Contributions"). You retain ownership of your Contributions, and you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute them as part of operating and improving the Service — including feeding them into route planning for other users. You agree not to submit content that is false or misleading, identifies locations on private land without permission, infringes others' rights, or is unlawful, spammy, or abusive. We may edit, hide, or remove Contributions at our discretion, including automatically after community reports. Contribution volume may be rate-limited.
The Service incorporates data from third parties, including OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), Mapbox, and Open-Meteo. That data is subject to its own licenses and may be inaccurate. Vehicle telemetry is read from systems you connect (e.g. Victron via RREV Hub) and is displayed as received.
No scraping or bulk-extracting the community database; no reverse engineering; no automated account creation; no use of the Service to harass others or to promote trespassing on private land.
Some features may require a paid subscription. Pricing and billing terms will be presented at purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
We may update the Service and these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
