BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — 2 campsites — This popular site is located in an open environment next to Shesta Lake. There is a camping area for tents and small RVs, but is not suitable for large units. The site provides the basic amenities of tables, fire rings, and a pit toilet. This site is located only 6km off the paved road. The lake is popular for swimming and does offer some angling opportunities, but the majority of fish are coarse fish species. — Travel 9kms west of Prince George from the hwy 97/16 junction - turn left on to the Blackwater Rd - proceed 21kms and turn right on to the Pelican FSR. The site is located at 6km. A picnic site is also located at the other end of the lake (8km).
