BC Recreation Site — This site offers non-motorized access to Nelson Lake via a short trail to the water's edge (approximately 250 metres). Facilities at the site include an outhouse, a short boardwalk, and a dock. Nelson Lake offers good rainbow trout fishing, and is annually stocked with Pennask strain rainbow trout by the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC. — Drive west of Prince George via the Blackwater Road. Proceed past Baldy Hughes for approximately 4 km, and the site is located on the right side of the road. Please note that access to the lake is only available via the non-motorized trail.
