Campground Camping — Tahoe National Forest — **Please read the Forest Order (linked HERE ) for Camping & Campfire Restrictions** Prosser Family Campground is located on the west shore above Prosser Reservoir, 10 minutes north of Truckee, Calif. The campground is situated within walking distance of the western shore of the reservoir. The campground offers single-family campsites. A forest of Jeffrey pine and fir trees shade the area, while sagebrush dots the forest floor in surrounding areas. Some sites have filtered views of the reservoir and the surrounding mountains can be seen through the trees. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring.
