Campground Camping — Tahoe National Forest — Lakeside Campground is located on the west shore of Prosser Reservoir, 10 minutes north of Truckee, CA. The campground offers single-family campsites. Some campground sites are shaded by pine and fir trees, other sites have full sun and are open. Some water's edge sites available depending on reservoir water level. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Accessible vault toilets are provided. Many sites have a view of the reservoir and/or surrounding mountains. Firewood available at the campground at host site. Most single family sites and group campgrounds can be reserved at www.recreation.gov or (877) 444-6777.
