BC Recreation Site — User Maintained — 5 campsites — Located approximately 55 minutes from Bella Coola, the site is usually accessible April - October. The main features of this site are it's sandy riverside beach and angling opportunities with Chinook running in the spring and Coho in the fall. **If you plan on staying overnight, we strongly recommend you only camp using a hard-shell camping unit because this site is regularly visited by bears, particularly during the fall salmon season. Tents and other soft-sided camping units, including roof top tents, are not recommended. McCall Flats Recreation Site is located in the traditional and unceded territory of the Nuxalkmc, or the Nuxalk People. — From Bella Coola, travel approximately 45 minutes east on Highway 20 turning right onto Talchak
