Campground Camping — Boise National Forest — Amanita Campground is located next to scenic Lake Cascade in west-central Idaho. It is near the town of Donnelly, at an elevation of 4,850 feet. Boating, fishing, swimming and hiking are popular activities in this scenic region. There are 10 sites. On the left, a solitary tree stump remains following efforts to improve campground site safety by removing hazardous trees. Due to ongoing restoration efforts, campers can expect a different feel to the campground at Amanita. Many mature Engelmann Spruce trees have been removed from the site for public safety.
