Campground Camping — Tahoe National Forest — Wild Plum Campground is located 1 mile east of Sierra City on Haypress Creek off the Wild Plum Road. There are 47 campsite, piped water, vault toilets, and it is near the Kentucky Mine and Sierra County Historical Park. The lower loop campground sites are located next to Haypress Creek. This is a quiet campground. Sites are better suited for tents or smaller campers/sleeper vans.
