BC Recreation Site — User Maintained — 2 campsites — This is a scenic site on a small treed lake with good opportunities for fishing. This site has good road access — Follow Hwy 97 just outside of Falkland. South-east of Falkland, turn north onto Silvernails Rd. 4wd is recommended for Bolean and Spa forest service roads. Set odometer to 0 at the first cattleguard. At 1km, turn left onto Bolean Rd. After 1.4km, the road turns from paved to gravel. At 2.6km, the Bolean Rd FSR starts. At 9.3km, continue straight past the turnoff to Bolean Lake on the left. At 12.1km, turn right onto Spa FSR. At 13.2km, continue straight past the turnoff to Arthur Lake on the right. At 13.3km, turn left and continue 2.3km to Spa Lake Recreation Site.
