BC Recreation Site — User Maintained — 31 campsites — Semaphore Lakes Recreation site provides excellent hiking, mountaineering and alpine camping experiences. Unless you are above the sub alpine you must camp in a designated campsite. There are designated sites found near each of the three lakes within the subalpine area of the site. These areas are equipped with leveled campsites, toilets and food caches. This area is home to both Grizzly and Black Bears, always secure your food and attractants in a food cache when unattended Fires are not permitted in the site. This is to prevent damage to White Bark Pine trees, which are a threatened species and have protected status. — The Semaphore Lakes Trailhead is located at ~17 km. on the Hurley Forest Service Road, North west of Pemberton BC
