Campground Camping — Prescott National Forest — Located in the Mingus Mountain Area in ponderosa pine forest, this campground offers cool summertime temperatures and fairly easy access via a paved and winding mountain road. Nearby are Woodchute Wilderness, Woodchute Trail #102 , and the historic mining town of Jerome lies 8 miles northeast on U.S. Highway 89A.
