Campground — Overview Pine Lake Campground sits on the western shore of Pine Lake, between the towns of Crandon and Three Lakes. With fewer sites comes less people, but all the same amenities as other National Forest Campgrounds. There are plenty of sites to see and fishing opportunities on area lakes and Pine Lake Campground is an excellent central location. Recreation Pine Lake is a favorite of anglers who target northern pike, bass, walleye, and panfish which are all found in the 1,667-acre lake. The campground also boasts a full boat landing with two courtesy docks allowing for easy unloading and loading of your fishing or pleasure boat. Facilities Pine Lake Campground has 12 campsites which can accommodate trailers 40 feet in length, with most sites being able to accommodate trailers
