Campground Camping — Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest — This popular National Forest campground is situated mid-way up the lake basin along the western shore of Baker Lake, approximately 19 miles from State Route 20. Tent and trailer campsites are nestled within a forested setting on the lake. A day use picnic area offers panoramic views of the lake. Drinking water is available but water is not for hose hookups, RV users will have to fill up somewhere else. There is a large, paved boat launch parking area at the entrance to the campground, a $5 day use fee is charged at this site for non- campground users. In lieu of the day use fee, visitors can display a recreation pass in their vehicle. During Sockeye fishing season use at the paved boat launch is extremely heavy and parking becomes
