Campground Camping — Tahoe National Forest — Packsaddle Campground is surrounded by pine and fir trees with a view of the Sierra Buttes and alpine lakes. It is located 2 1/2 miles west of Gold Lake Highway on Packer Lake Road. There are 14 developed sites with piped water and vault toilets. Views of open meadows with wildflowers overlooking a ravine with mountains in the background. Views of granitic ridges and glacially serrated rock outcroppings. Campground has corrals and space for stock trailers.
