BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — 9 campsites — This 7 unit campground is situated on the north shore of Francois Lake. There is a gravel beach and boat launch, two outhouses, and a short hiking trail out to the end of the peninsula with a great lookout on a small hill overlooking the lake. There have been recent (2023) accessibility upgrades to this site including new picnic tables with concrete bases, signage and parking lot improvements. The site is quite spacious with easy access off Colleymount Rd. There are several fish species available in Francois Lake for anglers.
