BC Recreation Site — User Maintained — The Murphy Creek Trail, also known as the 100 Acre Wood, is an interpretive trail that winds through an old growth forest. The trail features informational signs throughout the easy 1.5km loop path explaining the importance, history and evolution of this magnificent forest. It contains a diversity of tree species, including old growth cedars, larch and white pine. This is a strictly footpath only trail, no bikes or motorized vehicles allowed. Please be bear aware in this area. — From Rossland head north on BC-3BW towards Highway 3. In 15km you will see a road to your right with a large sign for the 100 Acre Forest, head down this road until you reach the fork 100m ahead.
