Campground Camping — Sawtooth National Forest — Mormon Bend Campground is composed of 15 campsites including 1 double-site bordering the Salmon River. All sites are first-come, first-serve. It is situated in a lodgepole pine forest along with sagebrush and some open meadows. Visitors can fish for trout and steelhead in the Salmon River and surrounding creeks. This campground is opened early in the season to accommodate steelhead fishermen. A designated put-in for float boaters is located within the campground.
