Campground Camping — Rio Grande National Forest — This campground sits among Ponderosa, aspen, spruce, cottonwood and juniper trees, and is composed of two loops - Upper and Lower. The Lower Loop is adjacent to the fast-moving Conejos River with some sites next to the river. This is a pleasant and attractive campground that is excellent for both the transient and destination camper. Juniper and Pinon Group Picnic & Camping Areas are nearby. Firewood is not provided. There are 40 campsites (21 are pull-through) with tables and fireplaces, 4 vault-type toilets, drinking water (hydrants) and refuse receptacles for your convenience.
