Campground Camping — Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Fore — The area is part of the mineral belt that extends into Leadville. Many of the 4-wheel drive roads were created by miners over 100 years ago which are now popular for four-wheel driving in the Summer and Fall months. The campground is near the alpine Tunnel historic site.
