Campground Camping — Medicine Bow-Routt NFs and Thunder Basin NG — 9/25/2024: This campground is now closed for the season and will re-open for the 2025 season. Located in the Gore Pass area on the Routt National Forest. Lynx Pass campground is a small campground hosting 11 sites in a loop making it easy for trailers up to 18 feet and four wheelers are allowed. This campground is popular among hunters during big game season as well as ATV riders as it offers an ATV trail right outside the campground. Each site offers a picnic table and a fire grate and the campground has one vault toilet. The campground is on Forest Service Road 270 between the towns of Kremmling, CO and Yampa, CO (off HWY 134).
