BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — This is the location of the day-use parking area for the Kane Valley Cross-country Ski Trails commonly called P3. There is a picnic shelter and outhouse and kiosk with trail map. From here, one can access the trails in many directions. The trails and parking area are managed in partnership with the Nicola Nordic Ski Club in Merritt. There is no camping allowed here. If you would like to camp, please visit the nearby Kane Lake and Harmon Lake East and West Recreation Sites only 4 kilometres further down the road. In winter, the trails are used primarily for cross-country skiing.
