Isobel Lake Recreation Site, part of the Isobel Lake Interpretive Forest, is popular for year round recreation. This site offers a 2km low mobility trail around the lake featuring rest benches, picnic tables, a group shelter (The Forest Inn) and accessible outhouses and docks along the trail. Additional summer activities include canoeing, fishing and biking. There are extensive cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking opportunities in the winter. Isobel Lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout; the lake is a youth/disabled Accompanied Water from April 1 - Sept 30 with a handrail on the western dock to allow access into a boat.
