Campground — Overview Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground is a high elevation campground, 9,000 feet, in the north east corner of the state of Utah, between Flaming Gorge and Evanston, Wyoming. It offers lake access and access to the High Uinta Wilderness. Campers are drawn to the area to boat and fish in the lake and to hike or horseback ride on the many trails. Recreation This off-the-beaten path area is a kind of recreationists paradise, with boating and fishing in Hoop Lake, more fishing in nearby Beaver Meadow Reservoir, and trails galore. There is easy access to Hoop Lake trailhead, and access to the High Uintas Wilderness. Facilities The campground has 7 single camp sites each with picnic tables and fire rings.
