BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — 30 campsites — Heffley Lake recreation site is very popular and fills up quickly in the summer. There are no reservable campsites, so plan accordingly. Within the boundary of the recreation site, there are 2 camping areas and a public boat launch. The original camping area has 19 sites with four double group camping sites. There is a small cartop boat launching area between campsites 8 and 9. The newer (east) camping area has 11 campsites and is situated away from the lake in a forested setting. The boat launching area is the largest public boat launch on the lake; however, space is limited. This gravel boat launch is not designed for large watercraft.
