Dispersed Camping — Salmon-Challis National Forest — The lower campground has 4 sites and also has potable water. Fishing in Hawley Creek, and in the reservoir. The Hawley Creek Trail is less than 2 miles long, but is rather difficult, gaining over 1000 feet in elevation over the distance. Motorized vehicles (ATVs, motorcycles), are allowed on the trail, but not off trail. There is a spur trail to the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. The trail opens up into grasslands toward the top.
