BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — 11 campsites — Located west of Bonaparte Lake, Hammer Lake recreation site offers 11 campsites and a boat launch. Boaters should be aware that power-driven vessels are prohibited on this lake under the Vessel Operation Restriction Regulations (Transport Canada). Electric motors are permitted. — This recreation site may be accessed either via Hwy 97 at 70 Mile House, or via Hwy 24 near Bridge Lake. From Hwy 97 in 70 Mile House, turn east onto 70 Mile-Green Lake/North Bonaparte Road. Follow this route for approximately 32 km, staying on the North Bonaparte (which becomes the 3200 Road) to about the 32-47 km marker, and turn right onto Young Lake Road. Follow Young Lake Road for about 11 km and then turn left onto the Eagan-Bonaparte Forest Servic
