BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — 4 campsites — This site is located on the shores of Hambone Lake and offers space for 4 camping parties. The basic amenities of tables, fire rings and pit toilets are provided. There is a natural boat launch suitable for small boats. Anglers may have success catching wild rainbow trout. — From Bear Lake, travel north on Highway 97 until you reach the Firth Lake/Hambone Connector FSR. Follow this road for approx. 15 km and turn left when you reach the junction with the Hambone FSR. Proceed along this road for approx. 8 km and the entrance to the site is located on the right side of the road (about 2 km past Cat Lake) Please note that this area is extremely busy with industrial traffic. The use of 2-way radios is highly recommended. Please drive
