BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — 4 campsites — **NOTICE** This site is currently on Evacuation Alert due to the Bonanza Creek Wildfire K71082. The site currently remains open, but campers may be expected to evacuate on short notice depending on fire activity. The recreation site is a popular location for angling, boating and camping. Spectacular viewscapes of the area compliment the site and the campsite is located on the western shore of Tyaughton Lake. Note: the northern portion of the site bordering the private land has been designated and posted for Day Use Only, No Overnight Camping — The Friburg Recreation site is located on the western shore of Tyaughton Lake. From Goldbridge proceed north east along Highway 40 for 12.4 kilometres. This is called the Tyax Junction, and
