Campground Camping — Six Rivers National Forest — Fish Lake Campground is located approximately 1,780 feet above sea level in a mixed hardwood and conifer forest with many fir and Port-Orford-cedar trees. There are five vault type unisex accessible restrooms and all campsites are furnished with wooden tables and combination fire ring grills. The campground’s location, 20 miles south from the town of Orleans, 12 miles north of the town of Weitchpec and 8 miles from the Klamath River, makes it an ideal location to participate in the area’s many recreation activities. Fishing, swimming and whitewater rafting are all close by in the Klamath, Trinity and Salmon Rivers. Campers can hike a system of trails (Blue Lake, Red Lake and Fish Lake trails) totaling 5 miles that exist around t
