Campground Camping — Lassen National Forest — Elam is a developed campground along upper Deer Creek with 15 designated sites; most can accommodate a small to medium size RV. Fire rings and tables provided. Elam campground is situated along Deer Creek at the confluence with Elam Creek. Elam Campground is a very popular destination for stream anglers hoping to catch a limit of trout. Deer Creek is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout during the summer months. Deer Creek has special fishing regulations, please refer to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife website for more information on regulations and fish stocking information. A fee of $14/night is required at this site, fee must be paid upon arrival and before each night of camping.
