Dispersed Camping — Fremont-Winema National Forest — For those seeking solitude and quiet, Corral Springs is the place. This quiet campground is located 15 minutes northwest of Chemult, Oregon. There are five campsites among lodgepole pines, each with a picnic table and fire ring. There are also two vault toilets and an information board. A narrow creek meanders through the middle of the campground, fed by a spring that gurgles out of a knoll. In the fall, Corral Springs is popular amongst hunters. In the summertime, this is an ideal campground for in relaxing in a primitive setting. June and July are heavy mosquito months so bring bug spray. There is no potable water. Visitors need to pack plenty of water
