BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — 14 campsites — Just 25 minutes from Port McNeill, Clint Beek Recreation Site is located on beautiful Keogh Lake. A popular summer destination for island residents, this site was built by MacMillan Bloedel in the late 1990's and named after Clint Beek - a prominent member of the community and long-time employee of M&B. A grassy area, picnic shelter and sandy beach provide for plenty of day use opportunities with a rough boat launch into Keogh Lake (non motorized only please). There is a host on site during the summer months with 13 campsites available for overnight use. At the request of Kwakiutl First Nation, RSTBC will not be supporting the use of motorized boating on Keogh (Giyuxw) Lake through the Clint Beek Rec Site beginning in 2022. Users
