BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — A multi-use trail network, used for nordic skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and hiking and moutain biking in the summer months. — Head east on Carmi Avenue in Penticton. Drive 6.2 km up Carmi Avenue, and then turn right onto Beaver Dell Road. Drive another 2.3 km to the main parking lot (also known as the Garnet Fire Interpretive Site), which boasts an outhouse, information kiosk and two picnic tables. Fires and overnight camping are prohibited at this parking lot. There is additional parking and access to trails 4 km up Ellis Forest Service Road.
