BC Recreation Site — User Maintained — This site provides parking for those hiking up to Canty Lake. The trail is ~2.2kms in length with a 575m elevational change. It is a challenging hike up to the lake, so wear appropriate footwear/gear etc. The basic amenities of a pit toilet are offered at the parking area and at the top. Note that the trail may be difficult due to blowdown across the trail. — Travel north (NW) of Mackenzie via the Parsnip West FSR, and turn right at approx. km 89.5. Access to this trail head is located ~3kms off the main FSR.
