BC Recreation Site — Maintained to Standard — *Please note that the Bear Mountain Nordic Association does not maintain Radar Lake. This Association maintains the Nordic Ski Trails. The Community Forest consists of three separate recreation opportunities. The Bear Mountain Nordic Ski Trails are primarily used for cross country skiing and snowshoeing within the winter months and hiking in the summer months. The trail system also includes a couple warming shelters. This recreation feature is managed in partnership with Bear Mountain Nordic Ski Association (https://nordicski.ca/). The trailhead is located 4km up the 223 Road / Bear Mountain Wind Park Road. Radar Lake and Interpretive Trails are used for day use picnicking, hiking and wildlife viewing.
