Campground Camping — San Bernardino National Forest — Located thirty-six miles northeast of San Bernardino, this hosted campground has 51 reservable sites (7 of them are accessible). There are showers, an RV dump station and firewood for sale on site. Bear boxes are available at each campsite for food storage. Box dimension 48"x 29"x 26". The Rio Monte hiking trail starts here and leads uphill to Jenks Lake and Santa Ana River. This campground is within twenty-five miles of Big Bear Lake and at an elevation of 6,500 feet.
