Campground Camping — Los Padres National Forest — July 28, 2024 - ALERT Arroyo Seco reopens a month before its anticipated date. On Friday 7/26/24, the Arroyo Seco Day Use area resumed its daily hours of operations. The campground will be first-come, first-serve until the Recreation.gov reservation system is back live September 1, 2024. Additionally access to the Gorge will be restored. Please continue to take in consideration the heat advisories and plan trips accordingly. Your safety is your responsibility. See the attached link for best practices. Developed campground, accessible sites; two small lakes in the area. Arroyo Seco River runs by the campground. Modern campsites allow only one vehicle per single site or two vehicles per double site.
