Campground Camping — Pike-San Isabel National Forests — The Angel of Shavano Campground is ideally suited for tent camping. The campsites are wooded with aspen and spruce trees along the north fork of the south Arkansas River. The Angel of Shavano Trailhead for the Colorado Trail #1776 is across the road from the campground. Dispersed camping spots may be found along 4x4 road FS 240) between Angel of Shavano and North Fork campgrounds.
